The Chan Family flew up from Melbourne for Grandma’s 70th birthday and had a fun family photography session at the Fig Tree Playground next to the Cairns Wharf!

Doing a photo session next to a playground is a great idea, especially one as photogenic at the Fig Tree Playground in the city!

It lets the kids play around and I can capture them while playing naturally and on the plus side, you can print out the photos and hang them up and they don't have a yellow, green and red playground in the background clashing with the wall!

Family photography in Cairns is so easy, because we've got so many incredible locations here, and most of them are close to a playground so we can do family photos and photos of the kids first, and then the kids can play while I take som nice couple photos of the parents and grandparents!
